Welcome to The Richard Montoya Organization, home of Be The Blessing—a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to uplifting individuals and families throughout Santa Fe and across New Mexico. Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and service, ensuring that every person, regardless of their circumstances, feels valued, supported, and seen. We proudly serve a diverse range of people, including individuals with disabilities, elderly neighbors, veterans, youth in foster care, and families facing hardship.

Our comprehensive programs are designed to address the unique needs of our community. From the BeYOUtiful Ball, an inclusive prom experience for youth and adults with disabilities, to the BeYOUtiful Spa and Boutique, which offer confidence-building experiences and free attire for teens, we strive to create moments of joy and empowerment. Our Jeans for Teens initiative provides essential clothing to local teens, while Senior Blessing Baskets deliver comfort and household items to senior citizens.

We also support grandparents raising grandchildren through our Christmas Toy Drive, honor veterans with appreciation gift cards, and provide luggage to children entering foster care through our Hold Onto Hope Luggage Drive. Our seasonal drives, such as the Darlene McKnight Christmas Toy Drive and Covering With Compassion Blanket Drive, ensure that families in need receive holiday gifts and handmade blankets.

For those seeking inclusive experiences, our Sensory Santa Experience and Wilderness for Everyone programs offer sensory-friendly and outdoor activities. We partner with local organizations for adaptive sports camps and recognize outstanding seniors with scholarships. Our food distributions during Thanksgiving, Easter, and emergencies help families and seniors facing hardship, while our ongoing community fundraising and volunteer outreach support urgent medical, funeral, youth, and community needs.
