Welcome to Be The Blessing – The Richard Montoya Organization, a heartfelt nonprofit rooted in the vibrant community of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our mission is to uplift individuals and families facing challenges, providing compassion, dignity, and unwavering support. We proudly serve people with disabilities, elderly neighbors, veterans, foster youth, and families traversing difficult times, believing every person deserves to be seen, valued, and supported.

At Be The Blessing, our approach is hands-on and generous, uniting the community through a variety of unique and meaningful programs. Our signature BeYOutiful Ball offers a one-of-a-kind prom experience for youth and adults with disabilities, while the Senior Blessing Baskets program ensures that seniors receive baskets filled with essentials and comfort items. For children in foster care, we bridge gaps with our Hold Onto Hope Luggage Drive, providing duffel bags and luggage so that no child has to move their belongings in a trash bag.

Throughout the year, we host the annual Darlene McKnight Christmas Toy Drive to bring joy to underprivileged youth, and collect handmade knit and crocheted blankets for cancer patients through our Covering With Compassion Blanket Drive. Our Prom Closet provides free attire and accessories, opening the door for teens to attend proms with confidence and joy, and our Teens Clothing Drive and Sensory Santa Experience ensure inclusivity and comfort for all youth.

We cherish inclusivity and community connection, supporting families with financial aid, recognizing resilient single parents, and collaborating with local organizations to respond to evolving needs.
