Halloween Drag Bingo & Animal Fundraiser Events

Welcome to the Street Homeless Animal Project (SHAP), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the Santa Fe, New Mexico and Northern New Mexico communities. Our mission is to support and advocate for the companion animals of the homeless, providing them with the veterinary care, compassion, and resources they need to thrive. We believe in the power of community and creativity to make a difference, which is why we host Halloween fundraising events that bring people together for a great cause.

Join us for our upcoming Halloween-themed fundraisers, designed to entertain while supporting our vital animal welfare programs. On October 22, our 'Be-Witchingly Brewed Drag Bingo' event at Counter Culture on Baca Street promises an evening of spooktacular excitement and community spirit. Enjoy a lively bingo night hosted by the fabulous 'Wicked Witch' of NM, Brandi, along with DJ Sol. Doors open at 6:30 pm and games run from 7 pm to 9 pm. Costumes are welcomed! Tickets available in advance or at the door.

For film enthusiasts, we invite you to a special screening of Alfred Hitchcock's classic 'Psycho' at the Center for Contemporary Arts on Old Pecos Trail on October 23. Experience the original theatrical cut as Hitchcock intended, with free delicious nibbles in the lobby while enjoying our horrifically unearthly Halloween décor. Costumes are welcome—dress as your favorite Psycho character!

Your support enables us to provide food, veterinary care, and supplies to those animals in need while helping us continue our outreach and advocacy efforts. Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to our mission, we invite you to join us!
