The Santa Fe Solid waste Management Agency is hosting a free household hazardous waste collection drive-thru event for Santa Fe city and country residents on Saturday, August 8, from 7a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station (BuRRT).

Whether you need to dispose of old motor oil, antifreeze, paints, solvents, pesticides, or household chemicals, our trained staff is here to assist you. We accept a variety of materials, including automotive products, batteries, fluorescent bulbs, pool chemicals, and more. By participating in our programs, you help prevent dangerous substances from entering our landfills, water supply, and natural surroundings.
